Selection Process
Players below the threshold can still sign up and be placed in qualifying or apply for a wildcard. All events are Open events but players are selected based on rankings, past tournament results, past tennis accolades.
The top Female & Male players will be selected based on USA TENNIS TOUR SELECTIONS.
Players rated outside the requirements or that do not gain entry into the Main Draw or Qualifying will only be accepted with a wild card approved by USA TENNIS TOUR.
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION & SELECTION:
All Wild Cards must be approved by USATT. SELECTION WILL BE MADE THE THURSDAY BEFORE the event at the latest.
USATT Selection
USA TENNIS TOUR events are Open, Pro-Am events, so only the number of players allotted will be accepted, so the selection process is needed to make selections in Qualifying and Main Draws.
The players will be selected based on ranking information and results visible to the USA TENNIS TOUR.
Starting with #1, the selections will be made in ordinance with USATT Selections in order of 1,2,3,4 etc.
- WTA/ATP ranking/results
If the player has a previous or current ranking on the WTA or ATP circuits, they are qualified for acceptance. If the player has previous matches results from WTA OR ATP, they are qualified for acceptance.
- ITF/Challenger Circuit ranking/results
If the player has a previous or current ranking on the ITF OR CHALLENGER CIRCUITS, they are qualified for acceptance. If the player has previous match results from WTA OR ATP, they are qualified for acceptance.
- DAVIS CUP/WORLD TEAM TENNIS
If the player has ranking or results form DAVIS CUP or WTT, they are qualified for acceptance, if the draw is not filled with acceptance rules #1&2.
- JUNIOR / ADULT/ SENIOR USTA RANKING
The USTA rankings will take precedent over UTR ratings.
- WORLD TENNIS NUMBER
Players will be accepted based on their WTN, if no other results or rankings are available.
- Universal Tennis Rating
Players will be selected based on their rating according to UTR, or UNIVERSAL TENNIS.

Controlled Acceptance
in main draw based off USATT or other ranking or previous ranking
Sensitive Acceptance
status could change if higher level players enter
Direct Acceptance
player is accepted into the main draw
Each event will have Qualifying & Main draws.
TOURNAMENT DIVISIONS
Most tournaments offer singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Some events will encompass Wheelchair, Junior, Senior & Legends Divisions.
